| Wednesday, 10th August | ‘Great Sex – How to have Mutually Satisfying Safer Sex’ AIDS West present an interactive, fun and informative workshop for LGBT people of all genders and all ages that will whet your appetite and help you enjoy the Pride festivities even more!

| Thursday, 11th August | Launch of multi-media arts exhibition ‘FREEDOM 2’. In partnership with LSC Summer Open Exhibition. [transport provided from Clarion Village Apartments, Sligo]‘

Hillwalk to Knocknarea Guided by Border Bisexual, Lesbian & Gay Group (BBLAG), Scotland. Wear walking shoes! Guide/assistance dogs only, please no pets. Venue: Meet at Clarion Village Apartments / Time: tbc / FREE. Outwest presents: A Fine Function: Table Quiz & Karaoke With Ms Claudia Shifter, Scarlett Rose & Lucy Lashes followed by DJ. | Saturday, 13th August | NORTHWEST PRIDE PARADE!!!
Assemble from 1pm at City Hall, SligoButterflies, Beauty and Bounce as we take to the streets in celebration of our lovely selves. All friends, family and allies welcome! Bring your banners, your bubbles & join in the joy! Parade moves off 2.30pm sharp. [if you want to bring a float on the Parade, please register it at northwestpride@gmail.com] Post-Parade Chill-Out @ Glasshouse Hotel 4 – 6pm Relax in that post-parade glow and sample the Glasshouse’s lovely menu. ‘PRIDING HIGH’ – THE PRIDE PARTY With the fabulous LOUNGE LIZARDS, Twanda Faux-Knightley & DJ Proud Mary Glasshouse Hotel. / Doors open 10pm. / Price €12 (€10 concessions). |
| Sunday, 14th August | The famous BEACH BBQ with welly-throwing, paddling and other delights!
Venue: Cullenamore Beach/ Bus leaves Clarion Village Apartments 1pm, returns 6pm. / FREE. [Parking is restricted so please be advised] Wind-Down at McGarrigle’s pub, O’Connell St, Sligo. 7pm onwards. |
