Artist submissions are open again for ‘FREEDOMS 2‘, a multimedia exhibition hosted by Northwest LGBT Pride 2011. The exhibition will run from August 11th – 26th 2010 at the Leitrim Sculpture Centre, Manorhamilton.

Works should illustrate artists’ perceptions of freedom, both personal and social and/or address issues of diversity, restriction and independent choices. Submission to ‘FREEDOMS 2‘ is open to artists working in all kinds of media/mixed-media. We also invite digital work from international artists, particularly those in countries where sexual or other freedoms are restricted.

Submissions are invited on the theme of ‘Freedoms’. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual freedom; freedom of movement; equality & human rights issues. Artworks in all media are welcomed, inc. visual, film, sculpture, performance & textile art. Submissions from international artists are also very welcome.

What you need to do to enter - 

Artists may submit up to 6 pieces. Please email good quality image/sound files along with CV. Include; a title for each piece, artist name, contact details and a brief biography of 25 words max.

A €5 administration fee is payable on acceptance. If you are submitting from abroad and concerned about the exchange rate for the administration fee (€5) contact Northwest Pride (freedom2pride@gmail.com) and to organise the possibility of a waiver.

Sale prices should include a 30% commission which will go to Northwest LGBT Pride.
